There
used to be a lot of nice natural places a few decades
ago pretty close to the colonial city. Nowadays is
not that easy - some are urban areas, others are too
distant. We went to check it out and found two places
worth to mention: one for its natural environment
- the Swallow
Falls (Cachoira das Andorinhas), in a farm 6,5km
from St Barbara Church. The other for historical reasons:
the traditional Bishop
Well (Poco do Bispo), right when once golden Red
River enters the city limits.
