Situated on the on the Riachinho River, in the District of Caete-Acu, Vale do Capao, near the village of Palmeiras (Bahia). This 12 meter high fall forms a great pool for swimming. You can get there from a local dirt road joining Palmeiras with Vale do Capao (see map), or from a trailhead at the base of the hill which ascends to the waterfall Fumaca.
