Originating
in the high mountains, the Mucuge river crosses the
town of Mucuge
in Chapada Diamantina and then continues to the Cumbucus
river. This is where the prospectors found the first
diamonds. Finally the waters of the Mucuge join with
the largest river in the chapada, the Paraguacu,
with many waterfalls, boulders and it’s waters
the color of copper.
